What if there was a fuel, abundant and affordable, that could power everything from homes to cars to smartphones? And the only byproducts were water vapor and aluminum?
It sounds like a future scenario. But it’s not. The future of fuel is here. And its name is Alane. The only question is, how you will apply it?
Chemists have known about the extraordinary energy potential of Alane for decades. Aluminum hydride was first synthesized in 1947 for use as a chemical reduction agent.
It soon became clear that this compound stored vast amounts of energy in the form of hydrogen. And when packaged properly, Alane’s energy was lightweight, long-lasting, and could be stored in virtually any shape or sized container.
Lighter. Stronger. Cleaner.
President Trump has authorized the Secretary of Defense to develop, and purchase equipment and materials needed for production of Alane fuel cells.
The main ingredient, Aluminum Hydride, is a controlled substance. So the authorization and development of such is news worthy at best. But of course as usual the fake news media isn't jumping up and down to tell us about another win for President Trump.
It's especially interesting if this type of engineering has been suppressed in years past for political and/or nefarious reasons, as to keep our military from advancing.
Alane is environmentally friendlier than other conventional fuels, will cut spending and expand traveling capabilities.
Presidential Memorandum for the Secretary of Defense
NATIONAL SECURITY & DEFENSE
Issued on: October 5, 2018
MEMORANDUM FOR THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE
SUBJECT: Presidential Determination Pursuant to Section 303 of the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 303 of the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the “Act”) (50 U.S.C. 4533), I hereby determine, pursuant to section 303(a)(5) of the Act, that the development of and the purchase of equipment and materials needed for alane fuel cells are essential to the national defense.
Without Presidential action under section 303 of the Act, United States industry cannot reasonably be expected to provide the capability for the production of alane fuel cells adequately and in a timely manner. Further, purchases, purchase commitments, or other action pursuant to section 303 of the Act are the most cost effective, expedient, and practical alternative method for meeting the need for this critical capability.
You are authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in the Federal Register.
DONALD J. TRUMP
The obvious reason would be that this kind of fuel would eventually make every other fuel obsolete. Which could make a huge negative impact on the production and market of oil, coal and other forms of energy. Which would most definitely devastate the economy worldwide.
Until recently it seems that the production of Alane has been expensive and required a great deal of energy to produce small amounts. These small yields severely limited the practical use.
But now developers have found a way to recycle spent aluminum back into the process, and large quantities of Alane can be produced at extremely low cost. With that achievement, the full potential of this powerful compound can be unlocked.
It will probably be a very long time before we see it used in our everyday lives. However, our military will be much stronger and more efficient with this technology at the ready.
Thank you President Trump. #Winning
