The Separation of Families at the Border: What’s True and What is a Manipulation to Further a Political Agenda?
A deep dive, concerning the crisis happening at our southern border, and the migrant children who are allegedly being separated from their families.
The media, leaders of the democrat party, Hollywood actors, and former leaders are all lying to us.
But you don't have to take my word for it. Have a look at ALL the evidence for yourself.
Did you know that if an Asylum Seeker enters the United States at a “designated port of entry,” they will not be considered entering illegally? Therefore, will NOT BE SEPARATED FROM THEIR CHILDREN, unless they are a danger to them.
It’s only those who must be detained or deported for breaking the law, that are separated.
Reported by DML News and FOXNEWS.COM:
The head of the Department of Homeland Security wrote in a string of tweets:
“We do not have a policy of separating families at the border. Period.”
Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen added: “This misreporting by Members, press and advocacy groups must stop. It is irresponsible and unproductive. As I have said many times before, if you are seeking asylum for your family, there is no reason to break the law and illegally cross between ports of entry.”
She noted that "no one is breaking the law by seeking asylum at a port of entry.”
Through Twitter, Nielsen reiterated that current policies are derived from laws already in the books:
“For those seeking asylum at ports of entry, we have continued the policy from previous Administrations and will only separate if the child is in danger, there is no custodial relationship between ‘family’ members, or if the adult has broken a law.”
As Reported by the Los Angeles Times:
Deportation data won't dispel rumors drawing migrant minors to U.S. - July 2014
President Obama and his aides have repeatedly sought to dispel the rumors driving thousands of children and teens from Central America to cross the U.S. border each month with the expectation they will be given a permiso and allowed to stay.
But under the Obama administration, those reports have proved increasingly true.
Most of the minors are being held in Border Patrol stations in Texas and Arizona, and in emergency facilities set up by the Department of Health and Human Services on military bases and other sites. About 11,000, however, were from Mexico and were swiftly bused back across the border, as the law allows.
Obama administration officials deny that lenient policies — including a 2012 program that allowed immigrants who had entered the country illegally as minors before June 2007 to apply for deportation deferrals, (DACA,) — have encouraged the sudden surge.
They instead blame a 2008 law signed by Bush that made it nearly impossible to repatriate unaccompanied minors to Central America without letting them appear before an immigration judge.
A mounting backlog in immigration courts since then has allowed most Central American minors to stay for years while their cases wend their way through the legal system. Once they are assigned to social workers, as the law requires, the overwhelming majority are sent to live with their parents or relatives in the United States.
Smugglers, who may charge a family up to $12,000 to deliver a child to the border, often tell them exactly what to say to American officials.
Obama last week asked Congress to change the 2008 law to give the head of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, greater discretion to send children back to Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras more quickly.
But Obama is likely to face stiff opposition from fellow Democrats, who have vowed to block narrow changes to immigration laws. Senate Democrats overwhelmingly backed a comprehensive immigration bill last summer, 2013, only to see the measure die in the GOP-led House.

So who’s fault is this? Plenty of that to go around….Congress’ fault for not acting long ago, former President Obama’s fault for creating the unconstitutional DACA program, and President Trump’s fault for talking so soft on DACA.
As soon as President Trump started making everyone think they might have a chance, (legal or fraudulently,) at eligibility for DACA, they have surged to the US southern border, just like they did during the Obama Administration.
However, during the Obama Administration, nobody cared where these children were being held. But it was in the same facilities, and they were being processed in the same centers, with the same chain link fences, and mylar blankets as they are today under Trump!
Thousands of Children Stuck in Foster Care after Parents Deported, Report Finds - NOVEMBER 2011 (during the Obama Administration)
A report reveals yet another devastating consequence of the enforcement-only approach to immigration—a startling number of children whose parents have been detained and deported are placed in foster care and face enormous barriers reuniting with their families.
According to the Applied Research Center, 1 in 4 people deported in FY 2011 (nearly 100,000 people) left behind a U.S. citizen child. The report found that the odds of reuniting the families are so low that the parents “basically fall off the face of the earth when it comes to the child welfare system.” Sadly, because of the regular increase in the number of annual deportations, this number is expected to triple in the next five years.
The report, titled Shattered Families, 2011, found that:
- An estimated 5,100 children, currently living in foster care, have detained or deported parents. Nearly 15,000 more children are expected in the next five years.
- In the first six months of 2011, ICE deported 46,000 parents of U.S. citizen children, or 1 in 4 of all deportation cases.
- In areas where the local police act as immigration enforcement in collaboration with ICE, children in foster care were 29% more likely to have a detained or deported parent. The study found that Secure Communities has created “deportation hot spots” with increased numbers of children in foster care.
- Immigrant victims of domestic and gender-based violence are at a significantly greater risk of losing their children. 1 in 9 cases studied involved domestic violence.
The number of cases has flooded the child welfare system, all at the expense of U.S. taxpayer. The U.S. reportedly spends $22 billion dollars on children in foster care annually, which averages to $40,000 per child— an unnecessary cost for children with able relatives. Yet, Child Protective Services (CPS) cannot place children with undocumented family members because they “could be deported at any time.” And because the average person detained is moved over 300 miles from their home before deportation proceedings, the chances of finding a parent for court hearings and reunification are slim. (2011)
While CPS is legally required to reunify children with able parents, immigrant children face enormous barriers. According to the report’s author, Seth Wessler, “there’s a limit to how long [Child Protective Services] will look for a parent. If the parent doesn’t speak English or doesn’t call their consulate, it actually makes is very easy for them to give up.” In some cases, once parental rights have been terminated, children are put up for adoption.
So what can federal, state and local governments do to protect families from separation? Implement policies that specifically protect children. The report recommends that Congress should create alternatives to detention for parents and allow them to participate “meaningfully” in dependency proceedings. DHS should amend the June 2011 memo to clarify that all parents of minor children should be granted discretionary relief with an emphasis on parents with children in foster care. State legislatures should institute “time-of-arrest” protocols for local law enforcement agencies so parents can decide who should take custody of their children.
Without these protections, thousands of children currently separated from their families—and thousands to come—will continue to languish in foster care. Is America, a country that prides itself on family values, really willing to let that happen?
That was 7 years ago. But it's all still the same. No one changed the laws, and now they want to blame it all on President Trump and his cabinet. While they try to clean up the mess. Sounds fair. Right?
Obama administration placed children with human traffickers, report says JAN. 2016The Obama administration failed to protect thousands of Central American children who have flooded across the U.S. border since 2011, leaving them vulnerable to traffickers and to abuses at the hands of government-approved caretakers, a Senate investigation has found.
The Office of Refugee Resettlement, an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services, failed to do proper background checks of adults who claimed the children, allowed sponsors to take custody of multiple unrelated children, and regularly placed children in homes without visiting the locations, according to a 56-page investigative report released Thursday. January 2016
Where was the outrage in 2011? 2014? 2016? Where was Congress? Nancy Pelosi? Chuckles Crocodile Tears Schumer? Where was the media? Rachel Maddow? JLo? HRC? Where were all the protesters and concerned citizens, calling that Administration Nazis for putting these children in concentration camps? Where was President Obama? **CRICKETS**
How long has this been happening?
I’m assuming here, but I’m going to say, over a decade at the least, I’ve read in some sources, that it’s many decades.
Prove me wrong.
Operation Streamline is a joint initiative of the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice in the United States, started in 2005, that adopts a "zero-tolerance" approach to unauthorized border-crossing by engaging in criminal prosecution of those engaging in it. Up to 70 people are tried at the same time, sometimes wearing shackles in the courtroom. Entering without inspection is a misdemeanor, and re-entering after deportation is a felony.
Operation Streamline was gradually rolled out in other parts of the United States border:
Yuma, Arizona in December 2006
Laredo, Texas in November 2007
Tucson, Arizona in January 2008
McAllen, Texas and Brownsville, Texas (the Rio Grande Valley sectors) in June 2008
By 2010, every US-Mexico border sector not in California had implemented Operation Streamline.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Streamline
For the last 10 years, in federal courts across the Southwest border, the federal government has systematically prosecuted unlawful border crossers in group hearings with little-to-no due process. These prosecutions, often referred to as Operation Streamline, were intended to deter illegal entry and reentry. Instead, they have clogged up the federal courts and wasted precious government resources with little evidence that the program is achieving its goals.
In other words, reform is needed!
What is Really Going On?
President Trump tweeted:
We must maintain a Strong Southern Border. We cannot allow our Country to be overrun by illegal immigrants as the Democrats tell their phony stories of sadness and grief, hoping it will help them in the elections. Obama and others had the same pictures, and did nothing about it!

Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Thomas Homan says he sees a lot of sad situations with parents being separated from children, but he has a job to do. Homan, who has served under six U.S. presidents and will be retiring next month, (June 2018,) sits down with Judy Woodruff to discuss immigration arrests and enforcement under the Trump administration.
Human Trafficking - These children are being protected from predators, they are not being put into the care of predators. It’s ridiculous to suggest that. There are people sending their children to the border alone with coyotes that in many cases sell these children into trafficking rings. Not just for sex. They also sell them for organs, slavery and only God knows what else. It’s horrific.
The Fraudulent Parent Problem on the Border - There is a surge of people at the border posing with kids that aren’t theirs in order to fraudulently skate the system, and take advantage of the goodwill of America. There has been a 314 percent increase in adults and children arriving at the border, fraudulently claiming to be a family unit.
Disease - Every single person no matter their age, must be examined by a physician. This is essential for not only the wellbeing of the migrant but for the American population as well. They have made a long journey, in harsh conditions and may have come in contact with countless bacteria, insects, and viruses.
Crime/Drugs/Repeat Offenders/Violent Criminals - So many Americans have been victims to crimes committed by people that come into this country illegally. Tens of thousands of Americans would still be alive if we were only enforcing our immigration laws and securing our borders. Not all of those who cross the border ILLEGALLY, commit violent crimes. However those who do apply for entry the LEGAL way, tend to follow other laws as well.
Parents are Sending Their Kids Alone - They are choosing to go through our illegal immigration process and our asylum process. They know before they come what is going to happen and the many risks in doing so, but they do it anyway. We can't blame ourselves for the choices made by others.
Many Don’t Make It - More than 400,000 immigrants tried to enter the US undocumented through the southwestern border in 2016. The vast majority were from Central America. Most Central American immigrants travel along the same dangerous route, known as El Tren de la Muerte ("The Train of Death"). Most of the journey takes place along freight-train lines. Migrants must ride 10 to 15 different freight trains to make the journey to the US. The first leg is a 13-hour ride from Arriaga, Chiapas, to Ixtepec, Oaxaca.
Why is Legal Immigration So Important?
The myth is that President Trump and those who support his policies are anti-immigration. That couldn't be further from the truth.
Immigration is an important part of the United States of America. Passing immigration reform would provide the opportunity for Washington to show Americans that policymakers can work together to solve big problems and boost the economy at the same time. (LEGAL IMMIGRATION!)
Citing this article from The Washington Times in November of 2014 -
Immigration reform would improve economic growth. The Bipartisan Policy Center estimates that reform would boost gross domestic product by 4.8 percent and productivity by 1.0 percent over 20 years. Reform would also increase U.S. employment and raise wages. The Congressional Budget Office projects it would add 9 million workers to the labor force while slightly increasing wages over 20 years.
This expansion would have a powerful effect on easing our massive fiscal challenges. The Bipartisan Policy Center estimates that federal deficits would decrease by almost $1.2 trillion over 20 years. This is a strong antidote to the deficits that make vital activity like infrastructure investment and worker training programs so hard to fund today.
Immigration also creates businesses. The Partnership for a New American Economy estimates that immigrants are nearly 50 percent more likely to start a business than native-born workers. These businesses create jobs and bring more customers into the supply chain, which in turn generates more revenue for local governments and resources for communities across America. It is important to note that immigrants or their children founded more than 40 percent of U.S. Fortune 500 companies — turning their American dreams into American jobs. That is just one reason why high-skilled immigrants are so critical to growth.
This is why an immigration reform policy that is based on merit, education and skills is much better for America than what we are currently dealing with.
Origin, race, religion, etc. should never be a consideration to base judgment on anyone, no matter the situation. Unless it's a matter of the person's own safety.
Many people on the left believe that being against ILLEGAL Immigration makes you a racist. It is not about race, it's never been about race. IT'S ABOUT FOLLOWING THE LAW. Illegal immigration is not immigration, it's crime.
It seems like everyone is a critic, but no one has the fix.
E-Verify - If we shut off the incentives to come to this country illegally, they wouldn’t come. Then so many wouldn’t be assaulted, raped, victimized and/or even die on their journey to the border. But so many businesses hire illegals for the cheap labor. President Trump needs to enforce #MandatoryEVerify. However I believe he's afraid it will anger the big businesses and in return have a negative effect on the economy and stock market. This is on President Trump, he can make a huge impact by enforcing this policy.
Secure the Border - This means a wall, but more importantly, more border agents, technology and infrastructure. Whatever it takes for border agents do their job in the most efficient, safe and effective possible way.
Zero Tolerance - prosecute all amenable adults who illegally enter the country, including those accompanied by their children, for 8 U.S.C. § 1325(a), illegal entry. Children whose parents are referred for prosecution will be placed with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). It’s the only way to avoid catch and release. This means that the judiciary will need enough immigration judges to get through all of the legal back log. This will be a long and grueling process.
Tough Rhetoric - No more talking about DACA! The message needs to be clear. We are not giving citizenship away.
CONGRESS NEEDS TO WORK TOGETHER - No more chain migration, visa lottery, catch and release. They need to stop playing partisan politics and start thinking of the wellbeing of the country and its citizens.
Trump signs executive order to keep families together at border - He gives in because who wouldn’t after all the crying the media and Chuckles Schumer did….
Full text of EO that keeps families together at the border -->HERE
Not even an hour after President Trump signed that EO, Pelosi was already complaining about how the EO wasn’t enough, that it would mean that the Trump Administration would have to incarcerate children with their parents that were already incarcerated.
Well, duh. That’s one of the reasons why they were separated, Genius!
Justice Department asks judge to allow children to be detained with parents for longer than 20 days
The Justice Department on Thursday asked a federal judge to modify the Flores settlement, which would allow undocumented families to be detained together for longer than 20 days.
The settlement was revised by the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in 2015, which required authorities to prioritize family reunification “without unnecessary delay” to a close relative or family friend, or to keep an immigrant child in custody in the “least restrictive conditions.”
The modification the Justice Department is asking for would allow Immigration and Customs Enforcement to detain a whole family unit for more than 20 days — through out criminal proceedings and any asylum proceedings.
The zero tolerance policy has resulted in the separation of more than 2,300 children from their families. (Due to the parents being prosecuted for illegalities.)
Sen. Ted Cruz announced a new bill Monday to stop family separations at the border, calling for a massive infusion of money and manpower to solve the problem without going back to the days of catch-and-release. The Texan is the latest Republican to say he is appalled by the images from the border showing befuddled children being taken from their parents, who are being carried off to jail for having jumped the border illegally.
Mr. Cruz, though, said he rejected Democrats’ answer of releasing the illegal immigrant families, saying that would create a loophole more migrants would try to exploit by arriving as families.Instead, he called for fast hearings, quick asylum for those who qualify and speedy deportations for those who don’t qualify. And he said families should to be kept in detention — together — until that happens.
Amnesia: Liberal Media Seems To Forget Obama Separated Families AND Detained Illegal Alien Kids
It’s quite the event, folks. The liberal news media have forgotten that Barack Obama was president. No, seriously, they’ve just blithely ignored that President Obama also separated illegal alien families and detained migrant children. And yes, he also prosecuted illegal alien parents for entering the country illegally.
While the brave journalists were hibernating during the Obama era, some bad things happened.
The journos are now awake, blaming Trump, and want to be taken seriously.
This 2017 report comprehensively details widespread use of family separation as a matter of policy pre-Trump. While Trump has added his own variant, it's willful ignorance to pretend that this was not a regular feature of US immigration policy before https://t.co/PgLdC7iyGi pic.twitter.com/HEU1qVl4PF

At least it would appear as though, under the Trump Administration, that they are trying to make sure that these families are reunited in the future.
Trump administration creates family reunification task force
REPORT: CBP sets timeline for reunifying ‘all unaccompanied children in their custody’ with families
Nearly all migrant children in the custody of Customs and Border Patrol will be reunited with the adult family members they were apprehended with by this coming Sunday, Trump administration officials claim.
According to CBS News’ David Begnaud, CBP, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security, expects to reunite “all unaccompanied children in their custody who were separated from adults who were being prosecuted … with their families” this weekend.
The officials noted that children separated from accompanying adults for “reasons other than [the Trump administration’s] zero tolerance policy will remain separated.”
What is the media getting wrong?

Democratic Rep. Admits The Child Migrant Crisis ‘Was Kept Very Quiet Under The Obama Administration’
Published on Aug 13, 2014
These images in the above videos and directly below are all from the Obama Administration
Inside the Texas Facility Housing Immigrant Kids Separated From Their Parents
Above is one of the facilities that the children go to after they are done being checked in at the border and transferred into the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services. As I understand it, they stay here for no longer than 20 days and are then placed in foster care with a family member in the United States, reunited with their parents if at all possible or placed with a prescreened foster family.
Frenzied media blame Trump for drugging of immigrant kids that happened during Obama’s Administration
An investigation by the journalists at Reveal details how immigrant children in U.S. custody are separated from their parents by government contractors and forcibly injected with powerful psychiatric drugs. It is horrific and truly inexcusable, which is why commentators are getting even more furious at Trump. But…….
The practice did not begin under the watch of the Trump administration, and there is no evidence whatsoever that Trump had anything to do with it. Readers won’t realize that from reading the story though, the horrific acts happened under President Obama.
The first words of the piece are "President Donald Trump." The article blames Trump and his current zero tolerance policy on immigration for creating “a zombie army of children.”
Three of the four children cited in the report were drugged in 2016 during the Obama administration, only one occurred while Trump was actually president. That timing is left out of the story, which, after opening with Trump's policies, never mentions the years of the specific incidents of mistreatment.
The story that begins with Trump's name never mentions Obama's. Sensational and viral, it’s created plenty of outrage.
Rodger Hodge, deputy editor of the Intercept, quips that its “Trumpian child care.”
The Reveal story makes the blood boil by pointing out a legitimate and horrific problem. It just doesn’t tell the entire truth, and unfortunately that’s becoming a trend.
More misleading news from Associated Press -
Even the Associated Press is making questionable editorial decisions to get the clicks.
An AP report details allegations of similar treatment of immigrant teenagers at a Virginia center. The children were thrown naked into solitary confinement. The children were handcuffed and beaten. The children were strapped to chairs and choked with plastic bags.
Pointing out that the youngest was just 14 years old, Kelly Weill of the Daily Beast correctly called it “Abu Ghraib” for eighth graders. Of course, Weill and the thousands who retweeted her did not mention when the alleged abuse occurred, in 2015 and 2016,..... and again, Obama wasn't mentioned
It was up to readers who actually finished the entire piece to point out these facts:
21 - That's the number of paragraphs you have to read into this story before being informed this was the Obama-era (2015-2016).
7 - That's the number of times Trump is mentioned.
0 - That's the number of times Obama is mentioned.

Should either President be blamed for these horrible incidents and practices? I guess that's up to you. But if you're not blaming both, you can't blame either one.
More Fake News to Vilify the Trump Administration -
Father of the crying immigrant child reveals she and her mother were never separatedThe crying immigrant girl in a photograph by John Moore has become the poster child for the immigration issue of children being separated from their parents and was even featured on the cover of TIME magazine.
According to the Daily Mail, Sandra is seeking asylum, and she and Yanela are currently being housed at a family detention center in Texas as her immigration proceedings are "ongoing."

Some more fake news
“In 2018, President Donald Trump began a policy of forcing detained immigrants scheduled for criminal prosecution to wear identifying wristbands and yellow bracelets.”
THE TRUTH
The use of wristbands and the implementation of Operation Streamline has persisted under Donald Trump's presidency, and the Trump administration has vowed to ramp up criminal convictions for illegal border crossing.
THE LIES
Neither the use of the wristbands nor Operation Streamline began under President Trump. The policy of criminal prosecution for illegal border crossings was started in 2005, and wristbands have been in use since at least 2013.
(Source is even snopes, if you actually believe them anymore, but most lefties like them, so that’s the source I used.)
This is the vortex of stupid that we have been sucked into. It's like the alternate reality where freedom and logic died. RIP
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has confirmed that agents separated a child with Down syndrome from her mother as they attempted to cross the U.S.-Mexico border.
According to the agency, the separation was not a result of the Trump Administration’s "new" 'zero tolerance' immigration policy. Border Protection said the mother is not being prosecuted, but rather is being held as a witness to alleged human smuggling.
“The mother and her five children were in a vehicle driven by a U.S. citizen,” Border Protection said in a statement Wednesday. “Upon questioning, the mother admitted to being illegally in the United States. Three of the children are U.S. citizens and were released to an aunt. The mother was not prosecuted, but is instead being held as a material witness to support the prosecution of the smuggler, which precipitated the separation of the two other children, both Mexican citizens.”
TIME also reported: Border Protection said the 10-year-old girl and her brother are currently in the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement and that officials are working with the Department of Justice to reunite the mother with them as soon as possible.
“This smuggler has a criminal history including a flight, escape, aiding and abetting making it important that we prosecute,” the agency said.
(This brave mom could potentially save many victims and even lives by her testimony.)
THE BRASS TAXThe hard truth, is it’s never been about caring for children, for any of these democrat leaders. I do believe that the vast majority of America has sympathy for them. However the democrat party leadership, (not the whole democrat party just leadership,) sees them as a way of winning back power.
Democrats only have one message that everyone is on the same page, Trump Hate. The rest of the party is divided into tribal identity politics. Saving children from an evil villain that they all, already hate is a great motivator for getting to the polls in November.
Historically, the immigration population tends to vote democrat, and with so many large cities giving illegal aliens identification cards, there is a much better probability for voter fraud.
Oh yes, this is a thing. It most definitely is a thing. But that’s an article for another day.
What democrats really want is amnesty for all of these illegal immigrants, because then they will all be able to vote legally. There are already states and cities proposing and even approving for non-citizens to be eligible to vote in local elections.
Talk about foreign powers messing with elections!
Four Reasons Why Separating Border Children Is the Only Humane Choice - Opinion
This so-called “migrant child separation crisis” is as phony and manufactured as the Russian collusion hoax, a ginned up controversy fabricated by the media to blot out President Trump’s success with North Korea, a booming economy, and to distract from the nuclear fallout that came via the Inspector General report on our disgraced FBI, including this week’s devastating congressional hearings.
This narrative is not only phony, it is also dumb, indecent, and inhumane.
What they don’t want to tell you is the only way to “keep the family together” is to release them into our country.
When dishonest anti-Trump activists like CNN’s Jake Tapper talk about “prosecutorial discretion,” that is coded language for “keeping the family together” by releasing illegal aliens into America with the equivalent of a traffic ticket.
There is simply no other way to “keep families together” other than to release them.
Because of loopholes in the law that make it impossible to hold children for more than 20 days, a finite amount of resources from congress (there are no facilities to hold legitimate illegal families together), and the fact that many of these children are being used by sex traffickers and drug dealers as a free pass into America (meaning, we need to separate families to ensure the child is not being exploited), those are the only options Trump has…
He can either separate families or he can release them into America. That impossible choice is the most important piece of news the media are covering up.
Those families seeking asylum through legitimate means are not being separated by the Trump administration, and they should not be separated. People who follow the rules should be treated like people who follow the rules. And those seeking asylum for legitimate reasons should be granted asylum.
But here are four reasons why separating children at the border is the ONLY humane choice…
- Abusive Parents
- We Must Separate Children From Sex Traffickers and Criminals
- ‘Keeping Families Together’ Encourages Sex Trafficking
- American Citizens Cannot Be Forgotten
The American Taxpayers are the losers in this invasion of our border.
REPORT: Nonprofit To Get $458 Million For Migrant Housing Centers
Southwest Key Programs, nonprofit, will receive $458 million, taxpayer’s dollars, in fiscal year 2018. Which is more than any other organization that contracts with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to run shelters for migrant kids who have crossed into the United States illegally.
The government paid the Austin-based nonprofit $286 million in 2017 and $211 million in 2016 for similar services, according to a Bloomberg review of government figures.

WASHINGTON (AP) — First lady Melania Trump “hates” to see families separated at the border and hopes “both sides of the aisle” can reform the nation’s immigration laws, according to a statement from her office.
Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for Mrs. Trump, said Sunday: “She believes we need to be a country that follows all laws, but also a country that governs with heart.” She said Mrs. Trump hopes both sides “can finally come together to achieve successful immigration reform.”

Asylum claims from Central America up over 800%, easy way ‘to get in the door’
Asylum claims from Central American immigrants have soared over 800 percent in just the past six years, with most granted a free pass into the country despite court statistics that only 5 percent eventually are granted asylum, according to Justice and United Nations data.
From 2012 to 2017, claims from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, have gone from 8,519 to over 76,000, an increase of 892 percent. Those countries are the source of the current “crisis” on the border.

REPORT: Fundraiser for migrant children based on deceptive photo skyrockets to record heights
An online fundraiser dedicated to reuniting immigrant families, who were separated at the U.S. southern border, it brought in $20 million as of late Sunday.
The initiative, Reunite an Immigrant Parent With Their Child (RAICES), is a Facebook campaign, and has become the single largest fundraiser on the social media site to date.
REPORT: Immigrant parents separated from kids released from detention
Thirty-two immigrant parents separated from their children were released from a detention center on Sunday into the care of a Texas charity, the group Annunciations House told the Associated Press.
Ruben Garcia, the El Paso, Texas, group’s director, told the AP that federal authorities had withdrawn charges of illegal entry for the parents.
It’s believed to be the largest release since President Trump signed an executive order last week ending the policy of separating immigrant families at the border.
You know why I say DC's political elite class, both D & R, have gone 'all in' on protecting human trafficking?
BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce pays politicians to keep this system in place. All Democrats and most Republicans support mass immigration. Almost no DC politicians want to take action on any policy or legislation that stops the influx.
Once you see the strings on the marionettes you can never watch the pantomime the same way you did before you noticed them.

In honor of the thousands of American citizens killed each year by Illegal Aliens.
Deaths that could have been prevented if the Congress and the Executive Branch would have secured our border and enforced existing U.S. immigration laws.
