Guests Journalist, Sara Carter from Circa News and Buzz Patterson, Author, Retired Air Force Pilot, former Senior Military Aide to President Bill Clinton
Robert Buzz Patterson served 20 years as a pilot on active duty in the United States Air Force, from 1996-1998, Colonel Patterson was the Senior Military Aide to President Bill Clinton. During that time he was responsible for the President’s Emergency Satchel. He retired in 2001 to pursue a career as a writer, conservative political commentator and commercial airline pilot.
During the Clinton Administration, Susan Rice, served in the Clinton administration in various capacities: at the National Security Council (NSC) from 1993 to 1997; as director for international organizations and peacekeeping from 1993 to 1995; and as special assistant to the president and senior director for African affairs from 1995 to 1997.
According to Buzz Patterson, (while he was Senior Military Aide to President Clinton,) Susan Rice, was the person that talked President Bill Clinton into not accepting Osama Bin Laden from Sudan in 1996. The country had offered him up on a silver platter, and Susan Rice urged President Clinton not to take him, because according to her, there wasn’t enough legal foundation to justify it. If you take the time to process that tidbit of information, you may come to the same conclusion as I did…. How does this woman live with herself? How does she look herself in the mirror everyday?
Susan Rice’s husband is the a former ABC News executive producer. Ian O. Cameron Produced Numerous Prominent ABC News Programs but Left to Spend Time With His Family.
Susan Rice unmasking revelations covered up by ABC, NBC, defended by CBS
No they would never do that,... would they?
Identities of U.S. persons in raw intelligence reports on dozens of occasions that connect to the Donald Trump transition and campaign.” With their identities unmasked, it allowed for someone to freely and illegally leak their names to the press. It’s controversial news but ABC and NBC both chose to ignore it that night, while CBS defended Rice.
Susan Rice is Former National Security Adviser to President Barack Obama. While serving under the Obama Administration, Rice has been accused of unmasking American citizens in incidental collections of National Security Surveillance. It's still not clear if the unmasking was for legally legitimate reasons or was politically motivated.
However, due to former President Obama’s relaxation of the rules under executive order 12333 it's quite possible that it was legal, but would not have been otherwise.
Full context: Susan Rice answers questions about Trump transition spying allegations
April 4, 2017
Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice denied Tuesday that the Obama administration spied on Trump campaign associates for political reasons last year, though she acknowledged that on occasion she requested the identity of Americans swept up in U.S. surveillance efforts.
In an interview with MSNBC, Rice said she sometimes asked for the identity of Americans who communicated with foreign individuals, a request known as “unmasking” in intelligence jargon.
The interview came after Bloomberg’s Eli Lake reported that Rice sought out the identities of Trump associates while reviewing communications collected during surveillance of foreign targets. Conservative media commentators have said the reports back-up President Trump’s unsubstantiated claim last month that former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential election.
Lake noted in his original report that in her role as national security adviser, Rice’s requests to unmask Americans swept up in foreign surveillance was “likely within the law.”
But Rice did not say if the individuals whose identities she requested included Mr. Trump or any of his campaign aides. She also denied the Obama administration ordered secret surveillance of Trump as part of a political operation.
“Absolutely false,” Rice told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell.
Rice’s “unmasking” request last year and recent comments on her role in the surveillance efforts have placed her at the center of the wiretapping controversy in recent days. She also faced criticism Tuesday for denying that she had any knowledge that U.S. intelligence agencies in 2016 intercepted communications between Trump campaign associates and Russian officials.
House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., last month announced the existence of White House documents that he said offered proof that the Obama administration intercepted Trump’s campaign communications while monitoring foreign officials, a practice called “incidental collection.”
The Washington Post on Tuesday cited the PBS NewsHour interview and raised questions about Rice’s recent comments on the wiretapping controversy, though the newspaper noted her denial was unclear due to the way the question had been presented.
To save time for broadcast, the full first question was summarized in the anchor intro leading into NewsHour’s March 22 interview with Susan Rice.
In the first question, PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff asked Rice about Nunes’ disclosure that Trump “and the people around him may have been caught up in surveillance of foreign individuals and that their identities may have been disclosed. Do you know anything about this?” Woodruff added.
Susan Rice on Nunes allegations: 'I know nothing about this'
“I know nothing about this. I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Nunes on that count today,” Rice answered. The full first question is unedited in the video above.
On Tuesday, Rice defended herself in the MSNBC interview, saying that her job as national security adviser involved seeking out information on U.S. surveillance efforts.
As a top national security official, Rice said, “I only receive what the intelligence community thinks I or any other senior official needs to see.” She added, “That’s necessary for me to do my job.”
On March 22, 2017 the PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff interviewed Susan Rice, who served as national security adviser and UN ambassador under President Obama. In her first answer during the interview, in which Woodruff asked about allegations by House intelligence committee Chairman Devin Nunes that Trump transition officials may have been swept up in surveillance of foreigners during the end of the Obama administration, Rice said—in part—she knew "nothing about this."
She seems to like to play with words, as she was quoted earlier this week on MSNBC, saying “I leaked nothing to nobody.” when asked if she leaked any of the unmasked names to the press. Leaking the names is a felony.
Susan Rice On ‘Unmasking’ Controversy: ‘I Leaked Nothing To Nobody’ | TODAY
(According to MSM this video down plays the possibility of anything nefarious going on.)
In an interview Tuesday with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell, former Obama administration national security advisor Susan Rice denies allegations from Fox News, Bloomberg, and other outlets that she used foreign intelligence intercepts to spy on members of the Trump campaign, including looking at documents whose subsequent leak ended the career of her successor, Gen. Mike Flynn. There are new twists in the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Former Obama adviser Susan Rice defended herself from allegations by the Trump administration, saying, “I leaked nothing to nobody.” NBC’s Andrea Mitchell reports for TODAY.

There was more than one unmasker, and Rice didn't unmask Flynn
April 4, 2017
The Wall Street Journal reports today, based on information from a "Republican official" on the Hill, that at least two Trump transition staffers had their names unmasked by Obama administration officials.
One of them was former national security adviser Mike Flynn, whose conversations with Russia's ambassador to the United States were leaked to the media. Flynn was ultimately forced to resign after less than a month in office because he had misrepresented the subject of his conversation to Vice President Mike Pence, who subsequently went on television and assured the nation, based on Flynn's word, that he had not discussed the undoing of sanctions that President Barack Obama had just imposed.
But Rice unmasked someone else's name in the context of conversations with officials from another foreign government — not Russia…...the names of two U.S. citizens who were part of Mr. Trump's transition team have been unmasked in intelligence reports.
One is Mr. Flynn and the other hasn't been identified.
The official said Ms. Rice had requested the unmasking of at least one transition official—not Mr. Flynn—who was part of multiple foreign conversations that weren't related to Russia.

FORMER US ATTORNEY: SUSAN RICE ORDERED SPY AGENCIES TO PRODUCE ‘DETAILED SPREADSHEETS’ INVOLVING TRUMP
Update: In response to a question Tuesday from NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell, former Obama White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice denied that she “prepared” spreadsheets of surveilled telephone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides. The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group, however, reported that Rice “ordered” the spreadsheets to be produced.
In addition, former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova, one of TheDCNF’s sources, said Tuesday in response to Rice that her denial “would come as quite a surprise to the government officials who have reviewed dozens of those spreadsheets.”
Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.
“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.
“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”
Other official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.

Why Susan Rice, Not Hillary Clinton, Took the Fall for Benghazi
June 28, 2016
On Benghazi day, let's spare a few thoughts for President Barack Obama's national security adviser, Susan Rice. Yes, the headlines all say the House Select Committee on Benghazi couldn't find any new dirt on Hillary Clinton. But the woman who almost replaced her as secretary of state did not come out looking very prepared.
Back in September 2012, Rice was ambassador to the United Nations and was President Barack Obama's first choice to replace Clinton as secretary of state. But her nomination was scuttled after she appeared on the Sunday news shows to discuss that month's attacks on a U.S. special mission and CIA annex in Benghazi. Rice stuck to the talking points she had been given and said the attack evolved out of a protest against an offensive internet video.
The final report from the Republicans on the Benghazi committee did not find for example that Obama had nixed a rescue attempt or that Clinton personally disapproved security measures for Benghazi before the attack. It concluded that various rescue teams waited far too long before deploying to Libya, but it did not show the president called off these teams.
Rice was not well-prepared for this task. Not only was she not a participant in the senior-level meetings to respond to the Benghazi attack, she wasn't even briefed by an intelligence analyst before appearing on the Sunday shows. She told the select committee that she was unaware at the time that the CIA maintained an annex at the Benghazi compound. Rhodes and senior Obama adviser David Plouffe briefed Rice instead.
The talking points that informed Rice's appearances after the Benghazi attacks were based on talking points developed initially by the CIA for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. …..the line about the internet video protests was based initially on an editing error in an intelligence report from the day after the attack.
This would appear to let Rhodes and Rice off the hook. It was the CIA's fault in an editing error. But the White House also earns some blame as well.
Mid-level State Department officials e-mailed each other in disbelief about what Rice said on the Sunday shows. Clinton herself talked about the al-Qaeda links to the attackers in private conversations with Egyptian and Libyan officials as well as a personal e-mail to her daughter Chelsea Clinton.
Obama's defenders might say that all of this is how the game is played. There is some truth to this. In democratic societies, it's not enough to just present the public with facts. You have to string those facts together into a story in order to persuade people to support your policies. Narratives make governing possible.
But narratives are not everything. And this is a lesson that Obama has yet to learn. Whether it's his attorney general excising Omar Mateen's references to Islamic State in his 911 calls, or the White House's decision to call terror rampages "mass shootings," the narrative often seems more important than the policy it's meant to sell. Nearly four years ago in Benghazi, the president's narrative about terrorism and Libya went up in flames. The story his administration told about a protest and an internet video couldn't save it.

EXCLUSIVE – Benghazi Hero Kris Paronto: Susan Rice ‘Needs to Be in Jail’ to Show Politicians ‘They Are No Longer Untouchable’
April 6, 2017
Former U.S. Army Ranger and Benghazi survivor Kris “Tanto” Paronto told Breitbart News that he believes former President Barack Obama National Security adviser Susan Rice “needs to be in jail” for her decision to willfully unmask the identities of United States citizens connected to President Donald Trump’s transition team.
Paronto added, “The Trump administration has been given the perfect opportunity to set an example, or make an example, out of the type of politician that she is and show these other politicians that they are no longer untouchable.”
“I thought Hillary Clinton was bad,” Paronto said. “This woman [Susan Rice] surpasses her as far as her evilness and willingness to subvert America with this administration and to continually lie.” He added, “This woman broke the law. She put lives in danger. She put officers in danger. She put American citizens in danger by doing that. She has no value for human life unless it benefits her politics or benefits her friendship with the crooked administration that was in power for the previous eight years. That woman, at the very least, needs to be in jail. She has no value of human life.”
Instead, Paronto suggested Rice lied to protect Obama and questioned her allegiance to the United States. “There is no gray area; she lied. And she’s still protecting her mentor, Obama, from that administration. Her allegiance lies, for some reason misguidedly with them, not with the United States of America.” Paronto also criticized Rice for saying that Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction. “I didn’t know a traitor could serve with honorable distinction and then get six of his fellow soldiers killed trying to find him. The woman has no integrity. She should have no credibility. And honestly, in my opinion, she should be in prison for unmasking and putting American citizens in danger.”
He said he hopes President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions will go after Rice but said, “I don’t think justice will take place because I haven’t seen it yet. “Justice could have taken place with Hillary Clinton because she did violate national security; she did lie. Justice could have taken place” when it was discovered that interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile gave Clinton’s camp questions before a town hall debate while she was a contributor to CNN. He added, “Justice could happen with Susan Rice and her lying on national TV continually about a video causing Benghazi when it didn’t.”
Rice said it was a YouTube video, not then-President Barack Obama’s foreign policy, that prompted the Benghazi attack that left Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others dead. It was not.
Paronto was among four surviving warriors who defended more than 30 American personnel in two American facilities in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. The attacks were carried out by the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia. In addition to Ambassador Stevens, former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty and State Department IT specialist Sean Smith were also killed.

Susan Rice somehow manages to make Benghazi cover-up seem minor
April 4, 2017
Well, that explains the deafening silence from President Obama.
All these months, it turns out, it was his right-hand hatchet gal and exposed serial prevaricator Susan Rice who was behind the scenes in his administration working all the levers of the most powerful espionage machine on planet Earth to spy on Mr. Obama’s political enemies.
This is jaw-dropping, bombshell information.
Not because it reveals Susan “Benghazi was about a video” Rice to be a liar. We already knew that.
Not because it exposed the Obama administration as the most nakedly partisan presidency in modern history, willing to use even the most sacred powers of the federal government for political purposes. We already knew that too.
What is so astonishing about the revelation that Ms. Rice was the one unmasking Donald Trump and his campaign before, during and after he won the presidency is that it doesn’t get any closer to Barack Obama himself.

While Trump critics and former officials on Obama’s National Security Council did not dispute the report, they argued that Rice did nothing “illegal” in unmasking the identities of those Americans. Conversely, Trump administration officials have not stated that the unmasking was “illegal” but that leaking the identities of the individuals unmasked was.

Exclusive–Father of Benghazi Fallen Hero: ‘Perhaps Susan Rice Should Take a Lie Detector Test’
April 6, 2017
The father of CIA contract security officer Tyrone Woods, one of the four Americans killed in the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on American facilities in Benghazi, Libya, told Breitbart News that former national security adviser Susan Rice should answer questions about her handling of intelligence reports while being wired to a lie detector.
“I am an attorney, and every attorney, the jury instructions we always give: ‘If a witness has been proven false in part of their testimony, then all of their testimony is presumed to be less truthful,” said Charles Woods, who became one of the most vocal family members of the four men. “That is the situation we have with Susan Rice.”
Woods said Rice lied to the American people five times on the Sunday after the Benghazi attacks, when she told viewers watching five different news programs the attack was triggered by a video on YouTube that depicted the Prophet Mohammad in a negative light.
“Two weeks ago, she said she did not know anything about the unmasking of Michael Flynn,” the former administrative law judge said.
“We have a pattern of not being truthful,” he said. “I makes me wonder why she wasn’t fired several years ago, when it was proven she lied to the American public those five times. Why wasn’t she fired? The only conclusion I can reach is that she worked for an organization whose values were based on deceiving the American people.”
Instead of being fired, Rice was rewarded, because she shared the values of the people she worked for and worked with, Woods said.
In January 2016, Woods challenged former secretary of state Hillary Clinton to take a lie detector test regarding the claims that she did not tell Woods and other Benghazi family members that the attacks were sparked because of an offensive video. Woods also volunteered to take a lie detector test himself. “Perhaps Susan Rice should take a lie detector test, as well?” he asked.
Woods said he has first-hand experience with the government, starting with a phone call with his son while Tyrone was still on active-duty in the Navy. “Do I believe that I am monitored? Yes,” he said.
During the conversation, the SEAL told his father that the government monitors all phone calls and if certain keywords are used in the conversation, the government flags the conversation for follow-up, he said.
Woods said when he attended the 2014 Conservative Political Action Conference he encountered another confirmation that the government was tracking him.
The attorney said he was going to give interviews at CPAC’s “Radio Row,” and in between interviews, he would call his wife to reflect and to pray with her.
After an interview with NRA Radio, Woods noticed that his contact list in his phone was smaller than it used to be, he said. “Every one of the media people, whether it had been Hannity or Fox News or whatever, all of those contacts had been scrubbed and then, all of the contacts that I have made with congressmen and senators–every one of those had been scrubbed.”
That night, Woods said he attended an event with a number of members of the intelligence community. “I mentioned what happened to my phone to a guy there from the CIA and he brought it over to a couple of whistleblowers at the same event. He said, ‘Have them look at your phone and tell them what happened.'”
Both men examined the phone and confirmed to Woods that someone from government had deleted his media and Capitol Hill contacts, he said.
One of the men told Woods: “It would have been very easy for someone to erase all of your contacts, but they wanted to give you a message that ‘We are listening to you. We are watching you and there are certain people, namely, media and congressmen and senators, that we don’t want you talking to anymore.”
Susan Rice claims she and Obama removed Syria chemical weapons
Published on Apr 5, 2017
Days before leaving office, Susan Rice told NPR hack Rachel Martin that she and Obama removed all chemical weapons in Syria. This of course was another classic Susan Rice lie as over 100 people died, including babies in the latest Syrian chemical weapons attack by Bashar al-Assad on April 4, 2017.
So let me put this all together for you in case you may have missed something here:
- Susan Rice advised President Bill Clinton to not take Osama Bin Laden when Sudan offered him up in 1996. Just 5 years before 9/11.
- Susan Rice lied about why the attack in Benghazi happened. She said it was some protest to a video. (Yeah, because protesters run around with RPGs and grenades.)
- Susan Rice denied knowing anything about the unmasking and incidentally collection of people associated with Candidate/Pres-Elect/President Trump and his team.
- Susan Rice changed her story a week later after it was proven that she was the one who had unmasked, or at least one of the people to do so. She also claims that it was all done legally and happens all the time. ( Then why lie the first time around?)
- Susan Rice told Rachel Martin, in an interview on NPR, that she and Obama removed all chemical weapons in Syria. This of course was another classic Susan Rice lie. April 4, 2017 over 100 people died, including babies in the latest Syrian chemical weapons attack by Bashar al-Assad.
But I'll let you decide for yourself, what you think of Susan Rice. If you ask me she's just as evil as her partner in crime Hillary Clinton. I am looking forward to hearing her testify and tell her side of the story of this unmasking and leaking scandal under oath. However after her past of lying, it will be hard to take her testimony as the honest truth.
